You can run that brick color along the bottom as well going as far in as desired. This creates a "faded effect" or otherwise dark to light. If you've got a ton of lid space to work with you can blend that brick color right into the black you've just placed. Start this rather thin, it will be blended later on.īlend the black liner with shadow while the liquid is still a bit wet. In this case I decided to keep the drama as close to my lash line as possible so in my crease, I used MAC's Cork and MAC's 217 brush and started the color as close to the crease as possible using windshield wiper motions and blended what was left in circular motions just above that. I have a lot of space between my crease and brow so it gives me more room to blend and take color further up. Oh the dreaded crease, how can we shade and sculpt this effectively? It takes practice but is quite simple. I also ran this color along my bottom lash line. It is a brown with a bit of taupe reflected in the light.
